Blue Highway

When I was four my Mom would sing and sashay to the music of Hank Williams and Rev. Jumpin’ Jim Jericho. Sometimes she had tears in her eyes (my parents were separated at that time). I recall asking my Mom if she was okay and she hugged me and said she was. I learned a whole lot about soul from my Mom and from that time on I developed ‘definiteness of purpose’, with a desire to sing on the Grand Ole Opry Stage. It is why I do what I do today. Thanks for getting me started Mom!
